Payment PolicyPayment is due within 7 days of submitting your registration. If you are registering within 30 days of the conference you will be required to pay with a credit card when registering online. Confirmations and Tax InvoiceA confirmation with a PDF Tax Invoice will be emailed when you submit your registration. If you pay by credit card a receipt will also be attached. Currency and GSTAll prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include GST. InsuranceThe registration fees do not include insurance of any kind. Participants are advised to take out appropriate insurance, including cover for travel, accommodation and personal possessions. Neither the Committee nor Conference Design Pty Ltd covers individuals against the cancellations of bookings for any reason including cancellation or postponement of the conference or for theft or damage to belongings. |
Credit Card PaymentsCredit card charges appear as Conference Design Pty Ltd on your card statement. When using the online payment system credit cards are processed directly by ANZ eGate and Conference Design does not store or transmit your credit card details. ANZ eGate is a secure and PCI compliant platform. Registration Cancellation PolicyRegistrations cancelled up to 60 days prior to the Conference will be eligible for a full refund where the payment was made online by credit card. In all other cases, a $150 cancellation fee will be charged. All cancellations must be advised via email to Conference Design. Cancellations notified after this date will not be eligible for any refund, however, another person may attend the Conference. VisasDue to strict visa requirements for the countries listed below, registrations and presentations will not be confirmed until the applicant has obtained a visa. EFT PaymentsPlease include the EFT Reference shown on your Tax Invoice when submitting an EFT and email Conference Design the details including date, amount and your bank’s reference.
Conference Cancellation or PostponementThe members of the Committee and Conference Design Pty Ltd do not accept any liability for losses incurred in the event of the Conference being cancelled or postponed due to an unforeseen event or any other event that renders performance of this conference inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible. An unforeseen event shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency. |
Bookings The online registration form allows you to book available rooms. You need to provide credit card details, which will be forwarded to the hotel to guarantee your booking. Please email us your accommodation requirements if you have already registered for the Conference. Extended Bookings Please email us if you wish to extend your accommodation booking before or after the Conference. Changes and Cancellations Please note the cancellation policies listed for each hotel. Cancellations and no-shows will attract a fee of at least one night’s accommodation. However, please refer to the cancellation policy listed on the conference website as each hotel’s policy varies and late cancellations and no-shows may be charged for all the nights booked. Please email us any cancellations and date changes.

Payment Accommodation and incidental expenses need to be settled using a credit card when you check out. You can arrange to pay your accommodation using a third-party credit card, e.g. a colleague’s work credit card, by completing the Credit Card Authorisation form below and email it to your confirmed hotel 30-days prior to the conference. Please email us if you wish to be invoiced for your accommodation with your registration. Any pre-payments made to Conference Design will be forwarded to your hotel. Pre-payments need to be received 30 days prior to the conference. Early Check-in Requests Early check-in and late check-out requests are subject to availability on the day and cannot be confirmed by Conference Design. You can enter special requests for early check-in in the “Special Requests” field of your reservation. The hotel will do its best to accommodate your request on the day. Please enquire about the status of your request at the front desk upon check-in.

Bookings & PaymentsAcceptance of Terms and Conditions
Conference Design Pty Ltd, members of the Organising Committee and the Host Organisation are collectively referred to as The Organisers. The Organisation listed on the sponsorship and exhibition application will be referred to as your Organisation or collectively as sponsors and exhibitors. By returning a Sponsorship Application Form or completing an on-line Exhibition Booking you are accepting these terms and conditions. Acceptance of Applications Any advertising is not an offer capable of acceptance. The Organisers reserve the right to decline any sponsorship and exhibition application. GST and AUD Payments Sponsorship and exhibition entitlements, including the allocation of exhibition space, do not commence until payment has been received. Cancellation of Sponsorship and Exhibition Bookings Cancellation or Postponement of the Conference If the conference is cancelled or postponed refunds will not be issued but available funds will be credited towards the rescheduled conference. An unforeseen event could include, but is not limited to, an infectious disease outbreak; industrial disruptions; service provider failures; governmental restrictions or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency. |

Sponsorship of any conference activity does not indicate product or service endorsement. Acceptance of all sponsor and exhibitor applications are subject to approval of the CONFERENCE YEAR Conference Organising Committee.
